I have participated in a variety of trainings including TAAP- Treadmill for students with Autism and Apraxia Protocol, Yoga for Classrooms, and Brain Gym. Background: Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) experience. It uses activities and exercises to reduce stress so that the body and mind can work more efficiently in any. In 2016, I started working with TAP as a group facilitator, and stepped in as the Social Groups Program Supervisor and Camp Director in Fall of 2020. Brain Gym brings movement back into learning. I have worked as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a school setting with students of all ages, for the past nine years. I earned my Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from New England Institute of Technology in 2013. Gradually make the circles bigger and bigger, creating the movement from the shoulders.

I used to do stand up comedy! I entered a contest and WON my first time ever on stage, so I stuck with it for a while. Start making small circles with the hands, keeping the arms straight. Brain Gym activities can be used to develop abilities such as rhythm, sequencing. I am lucky to get to work in most of the groups that we offer, which allows me to get to know our participants very well! When I’m not “socializing” in groups and emails, I create visuals and materials for participants and staff! we treat conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, development delay. Hold up both of your hands so one is in the visual field of each of your childs eyes. I try to keep things running smoothly for social skills groups and camp! I am the one sending emails for calendar updates, group events, and everyday communication.
